My daughters attended the Worldschool Antigua, Guatemala hub May of 2025, and they absolutely loved it. Alana and Bevan run an interactive, supportive hub full of fun activities, such as learning how to make your own tortillas, learning about traditional Mayan clothing, being exposed to Guatemalan reptiles, making soaps and candles, and more! The girls also loved having some free time to hang out at Eco Farms (an absolutely amazing place!) with the other expat kids they met, and we even met returning families. Additionally, Alana and Bevan were wonderful about sharing local tips for those of us completely new to Guatemala.

Can’t recommend this hub enough!

An unforgettable experience for our 11-year-old!
Our son had the most incredible time at the Worldschool Antigua Guatemala Hub! The program was the perfect blend of cultural immersion, hands-on learning, and unforgettable fun. From the moment he joined, he was engaged in meaningful activities that brought local history, art, and nature to life.

The facilitators were warm, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about creating enriching experiences for the kids. Every day was an adventure, and our son came home excited to share what he’d learned and experienced. It was educational without ever feeling like “school”—he had so much fun while growing in confidence and curiosity.

We’ve traveled to many places as a worldschooling family, and this hub stands out as one of the best. Our son is already asking when he can go back—and we’re just as excited for a return visit! Highly recommend it to any traveling family looking for something truly special.

We absolutely loved our time at the Worldschool Antigua Hub. When I asked my daughter what her favorite part was, she simply said, “everything.” This was our first worldschool hub experience, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction.

Each day, my daughter was excited to return—crafts, bracelet making, learning about Mayan culture through dress-up, soap making, and a hands-on reptile encounter were just some of the highlights. The outdoor space offered so much room to play and explore, and spending time with Panda the farm dog and the two rescue puppies made it even more special.

Leaving was bittersweet—we were sad to go, but deeply grateful for the incredible experiences, the lifelong friendships we formed, and for such a positive beginning to our worldschooling journey.

Thank you, Alana and Bevan, for creating such a magical experience.

Alana and her team provide a caring and fun environment for kids to thrive. Our kids (11yo, 6yo, 5yo) have attended two hubs now and each one has enriched our kids lives. There are structured activities, but also a lot of spaces for the kids to take time for themselves or play in a small group if they don’t want to participate in the current activity – play areas, soccer field, climbing wall, huge garden, rabbits. We appreciate this flexibility as each of our kids have a different learning style. There were a couple of social conflicts with our kids in the first one, but it was handled professionally and with love. These were great learning opportunities for our kids. I would recommend this program to any family looking for semi-structured education for their children.
