Los Cielos Learning
Los Cielos Learning is a beachside bilingual education hub and family community located right on Paseo San Cristóbal in Almuñécar. Designed as an inspiring home base where global learners, local residents, and expat families connect, our space bridges academic excellence with the freedom, wonder, and rich cultural immersion of worldschooling on the Costa Tropical.
Our Worldschool Programme (ages 7–16) is accepting enrollments for the new term starting this October. Our program transforms the vibrant natural landscapes and history of Andalucía into an active, living classroom. We offer project-based learning and a curriculum that weaves core academics in maths, English, and science directly through the surrounding land, sea, and sky of Almuñécar and La Herradura. From coastal marine biology investigations and outdoor field excursions to exploring local Spanish heritage and arts, worldschooling students gain real-world understanding while building lasting international friendships in a close-knit, welcoming community.
To complement our daytime worldschool offerings and support students across the region, our hub provides a full selection of bilingual afternoon and evening programmes:
- Targeted Academic Support & Private Tutoring: Expert instruction in maths, science, English, and Spanish tailored to both British (IGCSE) and Spanish (ESO & Bachillerato) curricula.
- Study Support Club (Ages 11+): A structured, quiet environment for focused revision and independent study with teacher support available.
- Teen Intercambio (Ages 11+): Bilingual exchange sessions where local Spanish and international teens connect to build conversational fluency and cross-cultural confidence.
- Creative Arts & Crafts Workshops: Hands-on maker sessions celebrating traditional techniques and creative expression.

Our team of warm, caring, and fully-qualified educators is here to support learners with a variety of backgrounds, needs, and languages. Instruction is primarily offered in English, but we aim to accommodate all languages.
Venue Details
Our bright and beautiful education hub is located on the beach in the heart of Almuñécar, a vibrant international city of 27,000 people. Your child can enjoy a morning of classes, followed by an afternoon of paddleboarding, kayaking, horseback riding, or organized sports. There is a wide selection of coworking spaces and coffee shops for parents to work remotely while children socialize and learn. Almuñécar is located approximately one hour to Málaga and one hour to Granada, making it an ideal home base from which to explore Andalucía.
