Antigua Global Explorers (AGE)
4 week hubs for children 3-12. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 9 am to 1 pm. Some activities for the younger kids include Spanish/English storytime, arts and crafts, gardening, forest school activities and music. For the older kids: Art, herbalism, photography, Spanish, woodworking and fitness. Aside from the structured activities, we also allow the children safe free play and exploration of our natural setting. Children will be provided with a healthy lunch. Once a week we introduce them to a traditional Guatemalan dish so they can have the option of trying our cuisine.
The program is mainly drop off but parents are welcome to stay and participate in the activities if they choose to do so or use our parents “office” making use of our free wifi to work while enjoying a cup of Guatemalan coffee. We have planned excursions and visits that include a native animal conservation workshop a demonstration of our ceramics and a corn tortilla making workshop. Depending on the month of the year, the children will participate in different workshops to learn about our traditions.

We are a team of Guatemalans who share a love for our country and for sharing our culture with the world. Our team is completely local, co creators are bilingual. All team members have experience working with children.

Our Worldschool is located in an avocado and coffee farm in one of Antigua Guatemala’s surrounding towns. It is surrounded by nature and it is at walkable distance from Antigua.

Cancellation Policy
Request for changes or cancel must be in written form.
- Any cancelation before 60 days of arrival is refunded minus 10% for administrative charges.
- Between 60-45 days a cancellation fee of 30% will apply. Between 45-30 days a 50% fee will apply
- If a hub is cancelled within 30 days prior to starting date a 100% cancellation fee will apply and no refund will be made.
Refunds will be made in accordance with the Cancellations and Refund Policy mentioned above. No additional refunds will be made for no-shows or any unused part of any hub whether voluntary, caused by airline changes or cancellation, or any
other factor beyond the control of ANTIGUA GLOBAL EXPLORERS WORLDSCHOOL, including but not limited to acts outside us (sickness, injury, poor health, weather, etc.) strike, detention, riot, war, quarantine, theft, civil disturbances, government regulations or restrictions, third-party or subcontractor negligence, or any other.

This was the first time for our kids joining a Worldschool hub and they loved it. They felt welcomed and loved by the staff. Overall the 2 months of attending the Worldschool hub made our kids more confident. They learned so much about the culture, the language and the traditional food. My son said that most of all he loved the free play time, exploring the area and visiting the reptile center. He said that he learned from Gabi that things he made don’t have to be perfect and he can be himself. Overall it was an amazing time for our kids and we highly recommend this hub to our friends with kids. It was such a great experience. THANK YOU!
Our family loved our experience with AGE’s Worldschool Hub in Antigua, Guatemala. Our two children, age 3 and 6, attended the hub for two weeks in November 2024. We loved the warmth and friendliness of the team. Our children instantly felt comfortable with the team members. Gabi and Julio were great communicators both before and during the hub. We really appreciated Gabi’s daily summary of activities and preview of the day ahead, along with fun photos from the day. Gabi and Julio also provided many valuable insights into local culture and things to do. We absolutely adored the environment of the hub – connect to nature, beautiful outdoor spaces, and lots of open spaces to explore.
We have traveled to South and Central America multiple times as a family, and despite repeated attempts to get the kids using Spanish – we had little success. After two weeks at AGE, our children are regularly using their Spanish knowledge at home, a month afterwards. The exposure at AGE absolutely made a difference, making our children feel more confident and comfortable about their Spanish use.
AGE put incredible effort into the daily activities for the children. We were super impressed by the quality and time required. We appreciated that Gabi incorporated her love of art in many of the activities for the children. The daily lunches were also a wonderful way for our children to get exposure to local flavors. Our children also especially loved the local excursions to the animal rescue and tortilla making workshop.
We would absolutely love to return to the AGE Worldschool hub. We left feeling like a part of a family in Antigua.
We are absolutely thrilled with the experience our boys have had the last two weeks and are looking forward to the rest of our time at this hub. What Gabi and Julio have created goes beyond what we could have imagined, blending Guatemala’s beauty and culture with fun exploration for our boys.
I’m constantly impressed by Gabi’s unique gift for encouraging the kids to explore freely while maintaining gentle structure and care. She’s an absolute treasure—so capable, confident, and kind. It is clear that she was a teacher and knows how to really engage kids while cultivating curiosity.

Our kids, 8 and 11, are taking part in a World School Hub for the first time and our expectations have been exceeded by far. Both children love going to this beautiful location every day and on Friday they are already asking how long it will be until Monday again 😉 Thank you Gabi for your work and effort and attention to detail.
