Additional activities, like visits to Machu Picchu and parent-exclusive events, provide opportunities for deeper exploration and relaxation.

Participants experience Peru’s history and culture firsthand, exploring topics like art, cuisine, and traditional crafts. Daily activities encourage curiosity and hands-on engagement, while optional excursions allow for deeper cultural immersion. Programs are designed to balance structured learning with opportunities for play and relaxation.

Located in the heart of Cusco, the hub features indoor and outdoor spaces designed for learning, play, and relaxation. Its central location provides easy access to cultural landmarks and historic sites, making it an excellent base for exploration. Families can enjoy a mix of structured activities and free time to immerse themselves in the area’s rich heritage.

Cancellation Policy

During Enrollment Period:

  • Cancel within 48 hours for a full refund.
  • From 48 hours to 120 days before the start date: 50% refund (minus $500 deposit).
  • Within 120 days of the start date: No refund.

Full Refund Exceptions (Before the Hub Begins):

  • Closure of borders or unsafe conditions.
  • Cancellation of the program by Deliberate Detour.

No Refunds (After the Hub Begins):

  • Withdrawal or early departure for any reason.
  • Dismissal due to behavioral or other challenges.

What's Included

Four days of programming per week, vegetarian lunches and snacks, all activity materials and supplies, transportation for included activities, instruction and guidance from bilingual, experienced staff, and contributions to local non-profits or community projects.
