What happens when I get a booking?

Families will receive an email confirming their booking and letting them know you’ll be in touch within 48 hours. It’s then your responsibility to collect the remaining balance through your usual registration process.
What are Worldschooly's fees?
Service fees apply only when you've listed hub sessions and a family registers through the platform. Worldschooly retains a 4% deposit when a family registers through Worldschooly. For the first three months, this rate is reduced to 2% as an introductory offer.
How do I list my program?
Hubs
A Hub on Worldschooly is your specific program listing. It’s where you can share the details of a particular program and list its upcoming sessions. Fill in all fields and give families a clear picture of what their children can expect during their time there.
Sessions
While creating your Hub listing, you'll have the option to enter Sessions. For each Session, include the Session Title, Price, Spots Available and Start Date. You may also want to include age ranges or duration after the title if these very by session.
Example: December Hub (14 days) - $800 - 12 Spots - December 2, 2025
Pricing
Ensure that the total price for each option is accurate to calculate any necessary deposit payments.
You may also choose to offer discounts for siblings. Please read our Host Discounts page for details on configuring discounts.
Registration Fields
While creating your hub listing, you'll have the option to create custom registration fields. These are fields that appear on the checkout page when a family makes a reservation and their entries will be passed on to you as the host.
You may create text based fields, single select or multi-select fields. A few example questions that may be helpful for onboarding a visiting family:
Participant Name(s)
Dietary Restrictions
Arrival/Departure Dates
Language(s) Spoken

How can I improve my hub’s visibility?
Create Hub Sessions
Listing sessions on your hub page boosts your visibility, enhances the family search and registration experience, and ensures you only incur service fees when a family registers through Worldschooly. Hubs with bookable sessions provide the best experience for families and are given priority placement—featured prominently on the Worldschooly homepage and appearing at the top of search results for maximum exposure.
Reviews
Encourage families to leave reviews after attending your hub. More reviews boost your profile’s credibility.
Photos
High-quality photos are essential. Families are more likely to book when they can visualize the hub’s environment and activities.
Written Content
Make sure to complete all sections of your hub page. Providing detailed descriptions helps families understand the experience.
Location
Ensure your location is entered correctly. Missing or incorrect location data can reduce your page's visibility.
Activities
Add specific activities related to your hub, but don’t overdo it. Avoid using location tags, as your hub’s location is already provided.
Description
Include relevant keywords in your description. Focus on around 5 keywords and use them naturally throughout your listing.
Response Time
Families want to know their host is responsive and thorough in their replies.

What happens if a family cancels their booking?
If a family cancels or doesn’t attend your hub session, the cancellation policy you set when creating your hub listing will determine the refund terms.
Deposits paid to Worldschooly are always refundable. If a family decides to cancel, they can contact us directly to request a refund of the deposit we collected.
What are the policies around photos uploaded to the Marketplace?
To attract more families to your hub, follow these photo guidelines:
High-Quality Images: Use colorful, well-lit photos. Avoid black-and-white or low-light images.
Image Size: Photos should be horizontal and at least 720px by 400px to ensure clarity.
No Watermarks or Text: Avoid watermarks, text, or collages in your photos.
Natural Images: Photos that depict your hub’s natural environment work best. Logos are allowed, but we recommend that your first photo highlights the venue or experience.
How are reviews managed on the Marketplace?
We value authentic, detailed reviews. When families leave a review, we ask them to share their firsthand experience with your hub. In case of a negative review, you can respond, and your reply will appear alongside the review.
Worldschooly doesn’t remove negative reviews or profiles with negative reviews. We believe in maintaining transparency to help families make informed decisions. Read our full review policy for more details.
