Reviews
Marissa and her whole family are such a blessing for the community. The camps for kids and her yoga retreats are all well planned and organised. Full of meaningful connections and great activities apart from yoga classes, like painting classes, nature walks, story time at the fire place and so much more.
Her space in Kwa Sadala is nestled in between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, with such a beautiful energy. Basic and simple, close to nature but very safe and peaceful.
We can’t wait to be back!
We had an absolutely unforgettable time at the World School Hub with Marissa and her wonderful family. The experience was incredibly well-organized, but what really stood out was how personal and engaging everything felt. It wasn’t just about learning new things—it was about building real friendships, reflecting on our experiences, and growing together. Marissa and William have a unique way of creating a warm, family-like atmosphere where kids can truly explore who they are in a supportive environment.
The setup is relaxed but intentional, encouraging deeper learning and self-discovery through both the mind and body. Our kids loved every moment—whether it was cooking, traveling, going on long walks, or the hands-on activities like making cob and building their own structures. What I especially appreciated was the thoughtful approach to learning behind the activities. They weren’t just fun—they were meaningful and created to inspire creativity and curiosity.
Thank you, Marissa and William, for making our two weeks so special, memorable, and exciting! I can’t recommend this experience enough—it’s unlike anything else in Tanzania!
With worldschooling, education becomes an immersive experience that stretches beyond traditional schooling, It’s about learning languages by chatting with street and art vendors, understanding cultures by way of interaction and trying wonderful local delicacies, learning to prepare some of those delicacies and mastering geography by getting wonderfully lost in vibrant and lush cities. Marissa and her family have created a hub that provides this and so much more. My son and I had the most magical filled moments with this beautiful family in Tanzania.
I had such a special and curated experience with Melissa and everyone I met traveling with Amani Light, months later I am still processing the memories. Some unexpected highlights were a cooking class and a tour of Shanga arts and recycling center.
The six day Safari including Ngorogoro Crater and Northern Serengeti was peppered with enough comfy beds and yoga to make bumpy jeep rides a breeze.
