Meet the Team

Our mission is to provide a space for families to discover life abroad in Mexico, develop a closer bond to each other through shared adventures and enjoy learning about the marine life in the Caribbean. Dasha is the founder of Wild Roots, she is a single mom raising her 8 year old son in Playa del Carmen for the past 4 years. They enjoy worldschooling during school breaks and long summers. Dasha is a life coach and recruiter by trade, one of her favorite ways to give back and serve is by hosting playdates, events, easter egg hunts and gatherings for the community. Angela is a Master’s educated marine biologist that conducts interactive workshops and classes as well as outreach programs for schools. She has hosted hundreds of marine biology classes with kids of all ages. Dani is the director of the beach school NEEK, they focus on conservatism, conscious living and project based learning in nature. As a team, we have over 20 years of combined teaching, facilitating and childcare experience.
