This year, for the first time, we’re inviting children and families to our place for a summer camp to spend precious days together in community and nature.

The ultimate goal is to have fun while learning an alternative way to live and care, to enjoy summertime and each other!

We will offer a colorful, varied program that allows plenty of room for spontaneity, creative expression, and free time for research and exploration. In line with the values and priorities of our community, the activities will offer a holistic range of experiences. This year’s focus will be on the following aspects:

  • Social development: We will come together as a group during our shared time, practice respectful, non-violent interaction, explore the qualities each individual brings to the group and what we can learn from each other?! We will use aspects from adventure pedagogy, mindfulness practices, joint bushcraft projects in nature, circle games, shared cooking and eating…
  • Ecological research: We consciously explore nature with our senses and focus on the small and large wonders of Mother Earth that we usually overlook. We playfully explore regenerative ecology, plant and harvest together, learn to compost, and make art with natural materials in a variety of ways…
  • Self-awareness: Through movement, dance, yoga, breathing- and physical exercises, we strengthen the connection to ourselves and consciously direct our awareness inward. We practice to ground ourselves by barefoot walks, water play in our stream and explore where aspects of nature can be found within us….

The activities are voluntary and the participants are supported during the day to develop freely on our land. They are welcome to contribute their own ideas and projects, make contact with the animals and people around, or just take time to decompress and relax in the shadow near our beautiful steam.

Discounts apply if you will participate in more than one stream.

Venue Details

The summer camp takes place on the premises of our Ecovillage. It is located in village Ninigori, Lagodekhi municipality, Kakheti region, about 2 hours drive from Tbilisi. We bought the land 1,5 years ago with a group of people aiming to build their houses and lives there.

We are in the process of renovating an old cow barn for community purposes. We are using natural techniques. There is a basic kitchen, bathroom, and a big space for activities inside with quite simple but safe conditions. Most activities will take place outside, at the stream, or in the permaculture gardens.

Our drinking water comes from a mountain spring, and we have a mountain stream flowing through our land where we can play in and get refreshed.

We will go on hikes in the surrounding forest/mountains and visit the mountain river during the camp.
