Running from July 8 – 14, 2025, this casual and budget-friendly meetup offers a mix of structured activities and free time to bond with other worldschooling families.

Families can choose how they participate—join for a few days or stay the entire week. The itinerary highlights local history, nature, and cultural experiences, including visits to Notre-Dame Basilica, Mount Royal Park, Atwater and Jean Talon Markets, Old Montreal, the Montreal Biodome, and Saint Joseph’s Oratory. There will also be beach outings at Parc Jean-Drapeau, hikes, mural spotting in the Plateau, and opportunities to experience Montreal’s lively summer festivals.

For those wanting to explore beyond the main schedule, additional activities like maple syrup tastings, kayaking along the Lachine Canal, visiting the Montreal Botanical Garden, or taking day trips to Quebec City or Vermont are available as optional add-ons.

Meet the Team

This pop-up hub is hosted by Amy and her daughter, Elodie (11), a nomadic worldschooling family who has been traveling full-time since 2021. Together with their dog Max, they’ve explored the USA extensively and are excited to expand their travels globally. Amy has previously traveled through South America and Asia and now splits her time between New Jersey and Montreal, where she has deep family roots. With years of experience in mobile communities, she’s passionate about bringing worldschooling families together to build meaningful connections.
