Bornholm Worldschool Hub
Worldschool Hub Bornholm invites homeschooling families to an enriching 29-day community experience on the picturesque Danish island of Bornholm. Known for its stunning natural landscapes and a welcoming homeschooling community, this hub offers a blend of structured activities and free exploration time.
Participants can join the full hub or opt for a two-week session (May 17 – May 31 or May 31 – June 14). Weekly activities are hosted on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, featuring creative workshops, potluck meals, and sharing circles. Weekend activities include guided walks along scenic trails like Kyststi and Højlyngsstien. €1,250 for the full hub; €375 for a two-week stay
The hub accommodates various living arrangements, including cozy apartments, caravans, tents, or RV pitches at Bornholms Familiecamping. Participants staying elsewhere are welcome but are encouraged to stay at the campsite for the best community experience.

Meet the Team
The hub is hosted by Mirjam and Susanne, founders of The Exploring Families. Passionate about connecting with like-minded homeschooling families, they began organizing hubs in 2022 to create spaces where families can share meaningful experiences. Mirjam will lead Weeks 3 and 4, while Weeks 1 and 2 are co-hosted by both Mirjam and Susanne.
Venue Details
The hub takes place at Bornholms Familiecamping, a family-friendly campsite near Nexø. Accommodation options include private apartments, rental caravans, tents, and RV pitches. Families have access to shared facilities, creating a communal atmosphere. The campsite is surrounded by Bornholm’s natural beauty, providing ample opportunities for outdoor activities.

What's Included
Do you plan on coming for the entire period of the hub with your own tent/camper/caravan? Then we ask for a contribution of €1250,-
This fee includes all activities offered by us and includes your pitch at the campsite. It does not include the costs for electricity. Your pitch is availible for you from May 15, and you’re welcome to stay until June 28. If you book your spot before January 31 you’ll receive a 10% early bird discount.
Do you want to come for a shorter period? That’s possible too. For families who want to join for a shorter period we offer two-week stays. Either the first two weeks or the last two weeks of the hub.
If you join us for a two-week period the contribution will be €375,- per family for two weeks. This fee includes all activities offered by us, but it does not include your pitch or accommodation at the campsite. If you book your spot before January 31 you’ll receive a 10% early bird discount for your participation contribution.
