Meet the Team

This event is hosted by Julie and James, a British worldschooling family traveling with their 11-year-old twins, Connie and Agnes. After 12 years as expats in Abu Dhabi, they have spent the last three years traveling across Asia. They previously attended the Penang Pop-Up and hosted a Melaka Pop-Up, enjoying both the community experience and cultural exploration.

Venue Details

The pop-up will be based in central Astana, with activities concentrated near Baiterek Tower and the Ishim River. The city is easy to navigate with affordable ride-share services. The host family will be staying north of the Ishim River, near Central Park. Families are encouraged to join both the Astana and Almaty pop-ups for a broader Kazakhstan experience.
