The Tokyo pop-up is hosted by Wren and Kristen, Canadian parents traveling with their teens. They’ve spent years exploring alternative education, including unschooling and homeschool travel. They coordinate pop-ups to support community-building among families with shared values.

Venue Details

Most events take place along Tokyo’s Yamanote train loop. Families are encouraged to stay near central neighborhoods like Shinjuku, Ueno, or Shibuya. Public transport is fast and reliable, making most areas within 20km accessible. Budget hotels and apartment stays are available across the city.
